How can you upload pictures to a document with Inkscape?

I am wanting to upload a JPG picture to a document. How can i do this?

Hi,

You can either drag & drop your .jpg file on the canvas or choose File > Import and point it to your Jpg.

If your question is "i wand to export jpg", then you have to export to PNG then use another program to convert it to a Jpg.

There is also the plugin allowing for the straight-forward JPG export (okay, it just does what Edouard described:)
