mathtype

I would like to import équations from Mathtype (Design science). Mathype claims that it is possible but I am not successful.

Do you know if it is possible to import frome Mathype and how can I do that,

To the best of my knowledge:
- I am not aware of any MathType plugin for InkScape
- You can use TexText although it requires a lot of re-designing
- You can import... pictures :( I know, it's not the best way but still
