Signcut problems

I'm using inkscape along side of Signcut. I've had no issues until I changed computors and redownloaded it. When I type in a font or upload a image it's fine until I click on send to Signcut then comes up with this error:
       tracebook (most recent call last File"C\ program files \inkscape\ share\ extensions\send to signcut.py"

Does anyone have any ideas? I have tried the 0.48 and the 0.44 version.

Hi,

Long shot here, but are you sure you have python working ? Have a look at https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/187290, even though python should have been installed alongside Inkscape by the installer, you sometimes have to edit your system's PATH to let Windows know you have it.

Edouard is right, you need sometimes to edit PATH (google it, there are many tutorials about PATH).

Another solution is editing source of extension — it links to `signcut.py` command instead of `C:\bla\bla\signcut.py`. :)
