Inkscape

I chose red and it prints green

When I select the color red, it is red on the screen. When I choose print, the page comes out with green where I want red. Print preview looks OK.
It is also flipped horizontally.

"Abolish the... " is what I want RED and it prints as light GREEN.

It's bug, Inkscape lacks CMYK support.

If your issue is linked to CMYK, maybe you can import your SVG in Scribus and print it from here ?
