How do I select a portion of the page to print?

How do I select a portion of the page to print?
My page is A4. the grid in the page letter size. I only used a quarter of the grid. How do I mark off what I did and only print that portion?

In File->Document Properties->Page, you can set the page dimensions and do some stuff, but in the absence of Print Preview, I can't confirm that this actually does anything meaningful.

Alternately, you can transform the work you've done (by scaling and shifting) into the printing region.
