I'm trying to fill a pattern (lines) and they are vertical, I'm wondering if I can change the angle so I can fill them at an angle. Trying to draw a shirt with diagonal pattern.

Hi,

I have done it in the past that way :
- draw a (bigger than your object) line anywhere on the canvas.
- using Edit > Clone > Tile clones (with 1 line and a big number (let's say 100) of columns, and setting x-translation for each column to something around -80%), create a hatching. You'll have to adjust the settings to your liking here.
- choose Object > Pattern > Objects to Pattern

Your new hatching will now appear in the patterns list (named something like "Pattern5802").

Hope it helps,
regards
