Inkscape

how do I reference an image on a web site? Inkscape does not seem to allow me to do that. I think I entered my URL correctly since any browser displays it. thanks.

Inkscape (as editor) does not load and render linked bitmap images directly from the web - you need to download the image, and link to the local copy of the image file. Web browsers OTOH do support this (it's their job ;-) )
