How to put text for egg-bot printing?

How can I put text in to image for printing on egg bot is there an east way?

(the Egg-Bot is a great independent project and not maintained by Inkscape itself)

AFAIU you have two basic choices:
a) outline normal text
   select text objects and apply menu 'Path > Object to Path' (results in a group, containing individual paths for each outlined glyph)
b) use the 'Hershey text' extension (installed along with the Egg-Bot extensions):
