How can I put accents and other diacritical marks used in Spanish in Inkscape?

Asked by Antonio Ochoa

When I type Spanish words with accents, ñ's or other diacritical marks, appears another symbol, and the use of Glyphs don't do not resolve anything. What can I do? I'll appreciate your answer.

Does <https://answers.launchpad.net/inkscape/+question/222132#comment-0> help with alternate methods (specially, Unicode input mode)?

Note: if you use current stable versions of Inkscape on Windows, make sure to use a font which actually includes these Unicode symbols (the font backend of the current stable Windows port of Inkscape does not do automatic glyph substitution from other fonts for missing symbols, unlike on other platforms).

Well, this answer was useful: I check if the font has the Unicod character that I need, and yes, there are, but only for the accents, not for the ñ. About the input mode in glyphs does not work. I resolve by this way: going to the Window's character map, select the accented vowel, copy and paste in the right place of the text box. For the ñ, I select the accent without the n, and in the same way, copy, paste, and move upon the n.
Thanks a lot!
