Inkscape

cannot open inscape. have mountain lion os

I have a mac book pro with mountain lion operating system upgrade. I cannot open inscape on my laptop even though I have the download and the icon.
Please advise.

You need to install XQuartz to run Inkscape 0.48.2 on Mountain Lion (the download link is in the FAQ). Please don't forget to log out and back in (or reboot) after installing XQuartz, to properly finish the installation.
