i cannot find any jpeg format as i am used to in Photoshop

my question is simply.. where is the Jpeg format to save my work so that i may email my work if need be.
i see no compatable formats that i am used to that i have been using in Photoshop for over 15 years

Use 'File > Export Bitmap' to export to PNG, and either email the PNG
directly, or use an image convertor of your choice to convert from
(lossless) PNG to (lossy) JPEG format.

Notes:
- Inkscape does not support to export directly to JPEG.
- 'Bitmap image' in the context of Inkscape refers to raster graphics in
general (as opposed to a vector graphics), and not to the 'BMP' image
format.
