Text problem

I cannot use filters on text. After this the text pixelised a lot, whats happening? Is this a bug or something else? Thank you!

This is what is supposed to happen. Filters work that way, they convert object to raster and apply effects. The thing you are after is the DPI of this rasterization. You probably see it only after exporting to PDF, set rasterization dpi to something like 300 or 600 dpi.
