Can't find stencil std

Asked by David Ilbery

I downloaded Inkscape to use with my sheetcam program on my plasma table, a tutorial said that they are compatible. It also says that it has a font, 'STENCIL STD', that we could use to make nameplates & such. We downloaded your program but that font is NOWHERE to be found. Does it or does it not have it. If not, your program is of no use to me. It seems like a good, eaasy to use program but, I won't keep it if I can't find a font that's applicable to my needs. Thank you for any assistance. Dave

Inkscape doesn't have fonts as part of the application it uses your system+user fonts.

Stencil Standard appears to exist in many different guises from different foundries - http://www.ascenderfonts.com/font/stencil-standard.aspx. Depending on your jurisdiction it may be legal for you to download a copycat font.

Can you help with this problem?
