Can Inkscape be used to make a flicker animation/.mov

Asked by Donald Bowers

No problems but it would be nice if Inkscape could be used to make flicker type movies that could be included in to family video CDs
The main problems I seem to find is programs first lack the ability to create the "tween" frames but mostly only produce file types that can be viewed on an internet browser and defy any attempt at conversion to any regular movie type files. That is unless your prepared to pay hundreds of £ or $ for it. For most people you generally only put family videos together once and at those prices, not affordable. Aside from that Inkscape is looking to be getting a very interesting program. Much like Xara.

Currently we do not have plans to implement animation any time soon.
