Corrupt .svg file_XML not parsing correctly_HELP!

I am on a deadline to print and present my poster at a conference next week and it all just went bad!
Im using the most recent version of Inkscape, tried to save as .pdf, the program crashed and now will not open my file.
I opened with Mozilla and it stated:
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: file:///C:/Users/michelle.meigs/Desktop/POSTER/ASLM%20poster_Capetown.svg
Line Number 22, Column 11: Unlock All="">
I did locate that in word pad...but i am not brave enough to make any changes...i dont want to further damage the file.

I did do a save as before i tried the pdf conversion, but that file is NOT where i put it, and i have searched all drives on my computer...I think i have a ghost in the machine!! ANY help would be MOST appreciated...
