filling a letter with an image color or pattern

Hello everyone,

I want to fill in a letter (font) using the color/pattern I have on an image. Is it possible in Inkscape? How do I do that?

Google for clipping or masking. You might need to convert your text to path first.

As alternative to masking, you could convert the bitmap image to a pattern fill, and use that pattern as fill type for the text:
