Can I save the .png file as a round image?

Asked by garryp4

I am using Inkscape (nice job by the way) to make an image of a bubble level to use in a Droid program. The problem I am running across is the image is actually square so the bubble will go off the bubble level in the corners but still be visible till it leaves the square image. If the .png image was round the bubble would just disappear.

Thanks,

Garry

Pretty sure that PNG images are rectangular by definition. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portable_Network_Graphics

The droid is maybe preventing use of transparency to prevent click-hijacking? Usually the external transparent areas wouldn't be shown. Sounds like a platform limitation rather than an Inkscape issue - I'd suggest asking on a droid dev forum.

Can you help with this problem?
