batch edit

I would like to do a batch edit of photos, adding text across the photos all at one time. Is this possible with Inkscape?

If you are going to process bitmap images (e.g. photos) and do these kind of operations, it is better to look at the possibilities ImageMagick is providing. For sure it supports the batch processing.

PS: InkScape supports command line and batch process but looks like ImageMagick suits better for your purposes.

I guess I didn't say I was on a Mac. That program you mentioned looks awesome, but doesn't seem to be compatible with MAC.
I used to use Photoscape, and I LOVED it, but I can't find a simliar program, that works on my new Mac. UGH!
