no printer options after clicking on print

I assume you're using Inkscape 0.45 or earlier, in which printing is pretty limited. On Linux it pops up a dialog but there's not many options; but I'd guess you're using Windows or OSX or something, in which case it may be set up differently.

In any case, Inkscape 0.46 (coming soon) will have a completely new print dialog with more of the expected options.

I am using Inkscape 0.45 on linux pclos. There is no dialog poping up
at all. It just goes directly to the printer. I did transfer the file
that I had created over to windows XP and printed from the windows
version of Inkscape. It printed fine from there.
I am trying to make a break from the whole windows and vista thing to
linux but it seems from what I have read that printing is not a
strong point in linux.

I will mark my question solved and wait for the new version to be
ready. Hope that I can just update and not have to re-install.
