wished for feature

This isn't a bug, but when I clicked on wanted features, it came here… so…
Could we have exterpolation as well as interpolation? That is, the 'morph' or 'inbetween' process continues a certain number of steps or a percentage, beyond the endpoint.
A --------> B and then ------> continues.

We have this feature. Draw a straight line. Use node edit tool (F2), select one endpoint. Drag it while holding down Ctrl + Alt
