GS9.05 & Inkscape Portable Not Importing .EPS Files

Asked by Joseph Glaser

Hello everyone,

I've spent the last two days at work wrestling with this problem. I use Inkscape perfectly fine on my personal computers, but recently I installed it on my work machine for some vector work I needed to be done. The files I am using are .EPS files provided by the marketing department at the university. I need to be able to import these into Inkscape without error.

After following every tutorial in the book about installing GS to Inkscape, I have come to the community for help. I have the correct path files added to the computer and even made sure the gs .exe files were in both the /lib and /bin folders. Here is the results from my cmd trial.

Any ideas on why this is occurring?
