how do i save the doc with crop marks showing?

i need to save the document to send to a printer with crop marks showing.

You could make the document bigger and place these marks by hand. For precise position you would need to calculate the right x and y values and input these.

You also have an extension to create crop marks in Extensions>Render>Printing Marks.
Then you can select all your objects (including the marks) and resize the page to the selection (in File>Document Properties>Page).
