How to cut a part of a Bitmap and add to a separate layer?

Hello, I am working with a Bitmap image comprising of a logo and some text. Both are grouped into one object. I would like to change the position of the test with reference to the logo. Can you tell me how?

You could use clipping. But generally my advice is to always use right tools, Inkscape is a vector, not raster/bitmap image editor. Use GIMP or whatever raster image editor you like.
