when i'll touch next stable release?

when i'll touch next stable release? A version without obvious stutters. keyboard shortcuts don't work sometimes , undo, results in weird results sometimes. grid lines are not straight sometimes when i zoom in! Inkscape eats too memory comparing with illustrator 15. AI is much heavier but is more responsive and runs smoother than Inkscape. I'm learning inkscape and will stay with her forever (not to mention the bright sides of her ;) i wanna know when is the time for 0.49 or a major jump approximately? (i'm tired of checking inkscape.org every day :( )

Hi,

We simply haven't started the release process yet. Once we do, we will have some sort of an estimation. I wouldn't expect it before autumn for sure. We'll just have to wait and see :)
