Resizing shape for upload

Hello,
I've made a design to upload to my Facebook page and have saved it as a .png, but it is too big (ie: the entire image is not visible as my cover - I can only see about 30% of it and only the center part)

I've tried modifying the image in Infarview, but even in this program, there are bits missing from the image (ie: the outer left and right hand rounded corners of my elliptical shape.)

How do I proceed to make the shape an adequate and manageable size?

When you export, make sure the image width is 851 pixels.
