I created the document on graph paper, can I print with the graph paper showing?

Asked by Stephanie Rooney

I created a document using graph paper grid. When I print the document the graph paper doesn't show. How can I have the graph paper show when I print?

You just need to draw lines there. Grid does not print and they probably never will, since using these this way is rare.

The easiest way to solve it is to draw a line along one grid line, then Edit → Clone → Create tiled clones (google for how to use tiled clones if you can't figure this out for yourself). Then repeat it for the other (horizontal/vertical) set of lines.
Actually getting the right offset is tricky, you need to see how wide your line is, then calculate the X and Y offset like "grid spacing"/"line width"*100

Can you help with this problem?
