plotter extension

Asked by A.L.B.

Hello,

I would know if is there any extension to cut or draw on a plotter directly from Inkscape.

What i'm doing now, I have to design my stickers, export to PNG archive, after I have to converse PNG archive to BMP archive, then going to Artcut software, import the BMP archive, redesign the sticker, and finally I try to plot.

Is there any solution?
I have already search a lot of guides, but I can't use Inkscape with my plotter.

Thanks in advance.

Luis.

Hola,

Luis.

If you said what exact plotter you have, it would make anserwing your question easier.

Excuse me,

my plotter is a Refine Craftmate DC240.
Even though, what I´m really looking for is a general extension to plot with Inkscape.

Thank you for your response.

This plotter ought to support HPGL language. From save as dialog pick HPGL, and you get file. Unfortunately I have no idea how to feed it to your plotter, but google gave me this: http://www.lingpartnership.com/plotfiles.htm
Hopefully you have some software with your plotter which would do that for you.

The first, thanks for all Mahfiaz.

But, I would know to do this on Inkscape, not on AutoCAD (unfortunatelly, I don't have autocad)

Thanks for reply.

Best regards
