Inkscape doesnt run

Installed inkscape 0.48.2 on os windows 7 home premium and cant run it. Got the message (translated from Portuguese): Program couldnt be opened correctly (0x0000005). Click ok to close...
What should I do? Thank you.

Try this:
Completely shut down your computer, wait a minute or two and then boot it again. Now try to start Inkscape. Based on other user reports, after such a cycle (shutdown, pause, boot) Inkscape should start again without crash.

This issue might reoccur though (for reasons unknown so far, but often reported by users after a Windows or security update).
