rotate object 45 degrees

how do you rotate an object - not just 90 degrees?

1) Select the object or group you want to rotate;
2) Left click on it: the moving black arrows arround the object will shift to rotation and rotation arrows;
3) Left click and drag one of the rotation arrows situated in a corner.

You can also fine tune the rotation with Object/Transform (Shift+Ctrl+M).
