Failed to load the requested file

I opened an SVG file (with Inkscape 0.48.2 r9819) created in illustrator, made some changes and saved the document. Now I get the "failed to load the requested file" error when trying to open it. They will not open correctly in firefox or chrome either. The program never crashed while using it, however, I have never saved a file - closed it - and reopened it successfully.

One more tidbit. I started a file from scratch using inkscape and I was able to save it and open it in a later session.

You might want to report this as a bug and attach both the original file and the resulting file there.
Also, SVG is an XML format, you may open the file with text editor and see yourself, what is wrong there.
