Need to change page layont to US measurements-mines metric!

I am working on a document that has metric measurments instead of our good ol inches. Can you tell me how and if i can swich in a working document? AND THANK YOU ALL FOR YOU AWESOME WORK YOU DO FOR US ALL BUT EXPECIALLY ME AS I AM JUST A BEGINER. TOUR ALL GREAT THANKS. //s// bruce blackspot

You can change the default units for the current document in
'File > Document Properties > Page > Default Units'
