How to switch a svg. to a jpg. for downloading?

Hi, yes l'm trying to figure out if its possible to change an inkscape drawing/file from a svg. to a jpg. l'm quite new to these procedures and how to make this all work if possible. l d like to transfer my artwork from inkscape to a certain website of mine and it says that it wont accept the svg. version? Can l somehow convert it to a jpg. so that l can start transfering my work? appreciate any help with matter.

In Inkscape, use 'File > Export bitmap…' to render the SVG drawing to a raster graphics format (PNG). The PNG format is well suited for bitmap images (aka raster graphics) displayed on websites, or for graphical elements used in web design. If the websites do require JPEG as only accepted image format for uploads (a format better suited for digital photography than for images based on vector graphics due to its lossy compression), you can use an external image convertor (like IrfanView on Windows, or ImageMagick on Linux, or GraphicConverter on Mac OS X), or a raster graphics editor like GIMP (or Photoshop) to convert the exported PNG to JPEG.
