Image with embedded ICC profile kept in PDF export?

Will inkscape keep the embedded ICC profile of an imported TIFF until the resulting output to PDF?

I am searching for a way to have a prepress-ready, color managed PDF with ISO coated v2 color profile embedded for all elements. For vectors, I use inkscape's built-in CMS, but what about images?

Unfortunately the answer is to combine all bits of the document in Scribus.
