new style indicator colours

Asked by Marcos Cançado Ribeiro

Now, we only can select the fill and stroke colours for the next objects (by clicking at the palette without any object selected, what changes the colour showed at the 'new style indicator', located at the top-right corner of the Inkscape window) IF, at the Preferences dialog, the option is 'Last used style', not if the option is 'This tool own style'.

I believe that this selection method (of the colors to be used, by clicking the palette without any object selected) should be possible for both options at the Preferences dialog. This is what I am suggesting.

Justification :
a) It adds an easy, coherent and intuitive way to define a new style for each tool. (Now, it seems to me, the only way to change the default style of each tool requires a previous creation and selection of a new object with the desired style, the display of the Preferences dialog and a click on the 'Take from selection' button.)
b) It seems to me that the difference between the 2 options we are talking about at the Preferences dialog does not demand a different way to define the values used by them; that they refer to the objects that have these values, but not to the way to define the styles of these objects, that may be the same, as I am suggesting.

That's all. The best for you.
