erase

hello to all:

Im new with inkscape, I am leraning with tutorials but i have a doubt:
If i draw line for example and i want to erase a little of this line can not, all the line erase completly. How can erase only a part of the object? Thanks

Hello,

As explained in the manual (http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL_v16/html/Eraser-CutOut.html), you can use the eraser in cutout mode to remove a part of your image.
