how do I make a box that is only a black outline around my logo?

Asked by Adrienne Crawford

I have a logo. I would like to outline it in a box. When I use the square making tool, it fills it completely in with color. I only want the outline. I have the initials of my company on top and the full name on the bottom. I would like to put a box around each initial letter within the full name on the bottom. It keeps filling it in completely. How do I do this with an outlline only within my text?

Two options:

One, you should have a palette of colours at the bottom of your screen. Shift+LeftMouseClick on one to select it as the stroke colour (outline), then LeftMouseClick on the one that looks white with a red cross over it (this sets the fill to "none").

Two, put the squares to the bottom of the image, click a square to select and then use PgDn to put it to the back of the other objects in your image.

Hope that helps?
