trace icon doesnot work

I go into path and its works then I go into trace and nothing happens

Hello,

Could you please give more details on how to reproduce this issue? I don't understand if the Trace dialog doesn't work or if it doesn't even show.

The trace window is blank then when I trace the design shows.

It looks very close to the bug reported in Bug #631444 "Trace bitmap preview broken" (https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/631444).
Could you please confirm it's the same issue?
