gradient editor "offset" slider

Cannot get the "offset slider" in gradient editor to acitvate. It is greyed out and inactive. Do I need to change a setting somewhere?

Hello,

The offset slider shows when you have at least an intermediate stop (default gradients only have two end stops) and if it is selected (you can't offset an end stop).
