I would like to create a logo for our non-profit girls basketball team. Can you give me suggestions about how to start?

We have an AAU girls basketball organization, the "North Carolina Lady GEMS". I have some photos of diamonds and sample logos and text for "GEMS". We would like to quickly create a logo for our teams. What is the easiest way to do this with your software?

Easiest way? Hire a graphic designer.
