How to save/export SVG to JPG in Inkscape

Asked by sylvie on 2010-12-13

Hi there,

I want to save/export SVG to JPG directly in Inkscape without any third-party application. However, I couldn't find such option in Inkscape. Is there a way to save/export SVG file to JPG directly in Inkscape? Thank you.

No, in current Inkscape versions you can only export to PNG via 'File > Export Bitmap…' [1]. You have to use a tool of your choice (an image convertor or raster graphics editor) to convert the PNG file to JPEG or other raster (aka bitmap) graphics formats.

This is a known feature request, see
Bug #171390 “Extended Raster export support please”:

Can you help with this problem?
