3d text

hi there i am trying to make a 3d effect to a text -- it will look like its written horizontally in an angle.. it should also have the correct prospective.
Any ideas?

Hi,
There's no tool in Inkscape to automaticaly create 3D text. But the web is full of very usefull tutorials (like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gL-VV-u4TSM) that may be helpfull.
