Inkscape

Selected menu item is white in a light gray background. Not visible.

In menus, item selected is shown in white while the background is very light blue/gray which makes the menu unreadable. How can I change this. OS is Windows 7.

Not determined yet whether it is related to Inkscape itself or external settings influencing colors used in the GTK+ theme.
