Reduce thickness of the font

Asked by kepin

Hello,

Suppose I type a letter "A" It comes with a particular thickness. If I increase the font size its thickness also increases. Please tell me how to reduce the thickness of letters, in my case it is "A".

Thanks and Regards,
Kepin

Hello,

The letter thickness depends on its font and variant, and will follow the size of the object.
The only way I see, if you really want to change the thickness of your letter for a given font and variant, is to convert the letter to a path (Path>Object to path) and modify the path with the node tool. But it's really not convenient!
IMHO, using a different font or variant which fit your needs is by far the best solution.

Regards.

Hello JazzyNico,

Thank you for providing solution. By doing it manually by using nodes for my case it works, but not 100% accurate.

Thank you once again!
