cannot reload some files outside inkscape once saved to file

How do you upload an inkscape svg file to facebook or something like that. I can't do it. Also certain files saved from inkscape to folders won't load.

.svg file types can't be uploaded to most social networking or any other hosting type site.

 You can upload .svg to openclipart.org (public domain) or http://imgh.us/ (file sharing).

What you can do is use >File >Export Bitmap to export your page/drawing/selection/custom areas to a .png file..

Once you have it as .png then you should be able to upload it to Facepuke or any other site that allows uploads.

 Thanks vwanweb. I'll give that ago. I'm not sure about how to make it a .png once I've exported the bitmap though I haven't tried it yet. I'm just about to. I know, I'm not very good at this stuff. You should see my computer files. There's shit everywhere and I can't find half of it, actually I don't even know wha'ts there. Anyway, thanks very much for the tip.

p.s. I reckon fakebook is pretty lame too, but I'm using it to promote my business.
