add a xmlns in the tag <SVG>

Asked by sergio oyarzun on 2010-04-28

Hello.
I am using Inkscape recently.
I made a file to design a map, this map must to display a tooltip when the cursor is over object. The way simplest that i found was use the code of CARTO.NET, but when i save in format SVGZ the code does not appear. Then I need put in the configuration of INKSCAPE in the tag <SVG> this line xmlns:attrib="http://www.carto.net/attrib", to work with the file "mapApp.js".
How can i do that?

Hello Sergio,

Is the attrib namespace used directly in the SVG code? Or just a requirement for the javascript code?
It could be related the Bug #166004 (Namespace declarations not reloaded if "not used").

Can you help with this problem?
