0.47 fonts missing dialogbox

Inkscape 0.47 r22583, built Nov 21 2009 on Windows XP SP2
Font "JazzText" (ttf) missing in Text&Font dialogbox. The same for other Jazz fonts. I use this font with other applications (vector and bitmap) without trouble.
I did delete .fonts.cache-1 and reinstalled the font in C:\windows\fonts with no result.
I tried to import a .wmf containing "JazzText" font. Nothing was visible though while selecting All the bottom info line says: "Group of 5 objects in root". So it is there!

Hi,

I can't reproduce this issue on Windows XP (sp3). The JazzText font is available with the text tool and dialog, and shows correctly on the screen.
I've downloaded the font from http://www.2-free.net/free-fonts/jazz-text-regular/34911.html. Could you please test and confirm it fails with this font version too. If not, could you give a link to the place you've found the failing font?

I installed a newesr version of JazzText and this solved the problem. Apparently older ttf's are not supported.

I dont know where the failing font version came from. But:
Failing version:apr 25 2006;
Ok version: oct 13 1995;
So the OLDER version is OK!
Maybe the failing version was just a corrupted download, though it worked fine in any other application for 3 years???
