Dimensional precision limits?

Asked by Randall Reetz

I am trying to set the width of a rectangle to 0.1016 mm. When I do your system rounds the dimension to .102 mm which is not acceptable accuracy for my use. What are the dimensional precision limits for this software? Can I reset these limits to my needs?

Note that the display precision and the internal precision are very different. The display precision is very low, but the internal precision is normally much higher. You can use the XML editor to see the value actually set (it may be in px rather than mm - Inkscape assumes 90dpi, so 0.1016 mm = 0.36 px).

Can you help with this problem?
