How do I set something I made on Inkscape as my desktop background?

I don't know how to set something I made on Inkscape as my desktop backgroung. Please help me!! Thanks =)

First export it as a PNG file of an appropriate size. (Use Export Bitmap on the File menu to do this.) Then set the PNG image to be your desktop background in the normal way (which will depend on your operating system).
