Hi,

You have two possibilities:
1. Edit>Undo (or Ctrl+Z).
2. Edit>Undo History (or Shift+Ctrl+H) to open the history dialog.

And also File>Revert which revert to the last saved version of the document (but all changes are lost and can't be redone!).

Thanks JazzyNico for helping me so FAST. I have another question....
Say when Inkscape opens and my first thing to do is click on the square and drag it into the area. Travis's video showed only a black line. I always get a solid color. Can you help? Thanks.... Danny :+}

Hi Danny,

You're right. The default colors for shapes is a solid color and a thin 1px black stroke.
To change it, open Objects>Fill and Stroke (Shift+Ctrl+F) and remove the fill color.
You can also change the tools default colors in File>Inkscape Preferences (select the tab corresponding to the tool's name).

There are some very good free online manuals available, including Tavmjong Bah's one here:
http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/

And some other links listed on Inkscape website:
http://www.inkscape.org/doc/

Regards.

Hey again....I followed your directions by open Objects and clicking on fill and stroke.  The window came up showing the fill as being white.  I cliked on it which removed a dotted line around, but I still get the solid color.  Hope u can lead me on.  I also went into File and clicked on Inkscae Preferences, but was not sure what to do next.  Cound you explain what u mean by selecting the tab corresponding to the tools name?  I am for sure slow at learning the ropes, but I really want to learn how to use Inkscape.  I appreaciate all your help.  Thanks....  Danny

Danny,

You must select the Fill tab in the Fill and Stroke dialog in order to remove the fill.

More very useful details here: http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Attributes-Fill-Stroke.html
Don't hesitate to read the whole manual (that's what I did when I was starting to learn Inkscape), and reproduce the tutorials. It's one of the best resource you can find online on Inkscape.

Regards.
