   good point, if the option to explode blocks is available to you, then I would definitely recommend using it.

   I just committed a new version of the routine to svn rev 21180. This has support for most of the changes discussed above: linestyles, BLOCK/INSERT, and an option to either have the image scaled automatically to size A4 or choose a manual scale factor.

   I don't anticipate making any more changes before the release of Inkscape 0.47, unless something unexpected comes up.
